Let's get NAKED 3rd time! - Review

HELLLOOOOOOOO my last post has been 10 days ago! hey that's not toooo bad I suppose! :D I can't believe it's going to be Christmas in 10 more days...or 9, depending on which side of the earth you live!
And WHAT could be more exciting than Christmas shopping?

Thanks to my iphone thief, it's not going to turn out too big this year as my budget decreased extremely after getting a new phone...however, I still went to the House Of Fraser to enjoy being a London resident and get the Naked 3 Palette (and by accident a few more things.............)

While many Americans already got the chance to try out 12 new brilliant eyeshadows, most UK residents will have to wait until tomorrow 16 December...or today as I'm writing through the night haha

So let's start! My first impression of it - pink or rosy!
The package already gives you and idea of what the eyeshadows might look like.

Package
It does not come with an extra urban decay product like the naked 1 and 2 but impresses with a solid package, which feels like...something between plastic and metal I suppose haha
It looks very much like the Naked 2 palette from the outside, however, the lid has a certain texture that gives it its own touch.
Also it includes a brush or in fact two. An eyeshadow brush and flat brush which got me really excited. I absolutely adore brushes by Urban Decay.

Colours
Just like the other palettes, Naked 3 offers 12 different sparkling or matte eyeshadows. But while Naked 1 and 2 in comparison have quite similiar neutral to cold shades, Naked 3 seems to go for warmer directions
They all have a slighty pinkish and rosy undertone, which I honestly said was not too sure about, and
range from lighter colours for a day make up and darker colours for a night outs.
My favourites are Limit, Trick, Nooner, Factory, Dark Side and Blackheart (I know it looks black but it's dark red) and mostly on the darker side (we have cookies haha) as I prefer brown over pink but I do love them all! they all go along well and make it impossible to mess up your eye make-up...colourwise at least

Quality
The first thing I have noticed about the sparkling glittery eyeshadows is that they crumble inside the palette and eventually on your eyelids...or your face depending on where it eventually lands haha You can even see it on my arm...
However, after using an eyeshadow primer (it doesn't have to be the Urban Decay one, I tried it with several primers) it will last for the rest of the night. No crumbling, no glittery face and veeeeeeeeeery pigmented colours!

DO I LIKE IT?
Yes. I prefer darker colours and love brown, however, I cannot say that I regret buying this. It is a really good palette and I absolutely understand why the numbers of sold palettes have gone through the roof. As I have already said I did have the feeling Naked 1 and Naked 2 are quite similiar, but Urban Decay came up with a completey new range of colours by bringing out Naked 3. And what I especially like about it is that the colours are quire unique (especially Darker Side and Blackheart), so that even people that have plenty of palettes by different brands will most likely not get bored!
I personally am really excited to experiment with it and to be honest it was about time to go for these shades of colours! I absolutely adore Holland Roden aka Lydia Martin's Make up from Teen Wolf!

I will upload a new video of Naked 3 looks soon if you like :)

Are you going to go to the Urban Decays countes? What are YOUR favourite shades? and combinations?!

Thank you so much for reading! i hope this was helpful! Love your lots

New In: Prom Haul Part 1 - Drugstore

Hellooooo out there! The rain storm outside blew my anticipation of summer away, however, I figured that it's a quite nice excuse to stay inside for once and blog a little bit :)

I don't know if I've told you but it's prom-time next Friday and since my dress is the only point I can check off from my list, i've decided to go buy some potential prom make up-products. I'm planing on presenting my haul in two parts, the first one is obviously about the drugstore/high-street products and the second will be about the more fancy ones (Well I consider them as fancy ;))

You could basically call this a Maybelline haul haha I don't know I guess I went a little bit crazy here. But we will start off with the only non-Maybelline product which is by Catrice. I'm not sure if this brand is well known but I definetely think their products are worth to be mentioned

Catrice Liquid Gold Topper: I've never been skilled in describing things but this product takes my unskilfulness to a whole new level. At first it looks like a Serum with glitter and when you shake it well (as the instruction is saying) it becomes...uhm liquid gold? haha I'm not kidding it's absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to use it.

Maybelline Color Tatoos in #35 "On-and-on-Bronze" and #05 "Eternal-Gold":
I had the feeling like everyone was raving about them, so I picked up two ones since the colors fit to my dress. I really love how they feel on your skin, they remind me on the MAC Paint Pots, but apparently are a tiny bit more pigmented. I'm not sure if they last for 24h but I really hope so since my eye-lids have sadly stayed invincible...at least when it comes to eyeshadow :(

Maybelline Master Drama Chromatics in "Turquoise Vibe" and "Vibrant Gold"
I have honestly said never seen these before. I mean I knew the Master Dramas but I guess the "Chromatic" line must be new. I've been thinking of getting a gold khol liner since as you guys know my dress has golden details. However, the turquoise one instantly caught my eye and as soon as I got the chance to try it out...I instantly fell in love with it. It's sooooooo pigmented, your eyeshadows can definetely be considered as replaced and I admit I'm a sucker for summery colors! I still unsure whether to use it for prom or not but I had to get it!

I've been experimenting with them but since hay fever attacked me this morning I couldn't do a proper make up, I'm sorry, I promise I soon will post one!

Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner
Clinique has been one of the first brands to bring out geleyeliners and I remember people barely payed attention to it. I, as a lucky person with sunken eye lids (bohoo!), however, have always loved how long the line would last without smudging. Now Clinique in Europe is slightly expensive so I'm glad that Maybelline came out with an alternative. I honestly have to say I am NOT disappointed.

Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream
First of all I have a REALLY REALLY good feeling about this BB-Cream. (And this one is actually not part of the plan for my wedding make up. Now as most of you probably know that the BB-Creams have become popular thanks to the Koreans. Korean BB-Creams usually look slightly grey and match their colors to the actual skin tone as soon as you apply it.( A little bit like the Loreal ones)
However, I've realized that the ones over here are really toned and obviously should not only be used to even your skin out but to make yourself look tanned. Since I am naturally tanned I didn't really like how orange these kind of BB-Creams looked like. However, they got me right there as soon as I've read "Salicylic Acid"(an ingredient doctors use for acne ointments). I've been suffering from acne for years, and my skin has just gotten better thanks to my mom and her lemons (haha but this is a nother story) and I really hope this will help my skin to heal. I really like how it feels on my skin, not too heavy and even more important, it does not make my skin oily! There's nothing more gross than having oily skin during summer time!
I don't know what I will think in a few weeks but if you wish I will write a review on this product :)

YOU MADE IT YAYY! Thank you so much for reading if you have gotten until here! I really hope I've somewhat helped you. The second one will follow very soon!

Rimmel Haul Part III: Eyes

Hello you guys! how are you doing?
As I've told you this was going to be my last week of school. However I didn't go to school today because all of my classes have been cancelled. I still considered to go but since I've found that taking pictures for 5 minutes wasn't worth the effort of finding a costume I didn't go. Big mistake. Today has been the day where we were going to prank the teachers and even better do the harlem shake all together. Great, I missed it.

Anyways, here's the third part!

It's bigger than the other ones and focuses on eye-products. I am going to start of with the mascaras.

1.The Max Bold Curves Mascara
When I tried this first I wasn't too impressed. It gets clumpy after the second coat. However it makes your lashes look super long. And I am saying this as a Maybelline False Lashes user! I cannot use this product on it's own but in combination with other mascaras this one is perfect. It has a huge brush, which I love haha. Especially for my lashes in the outer corner of my eye!

2. Sexy Curves Intense Black Mascara
Now this one is an amazing product! Since my lashes are pretty straight and short I've always had a hard time finding mascaras that would hold the curl. This is the very first non-waterproof which fulfills this. It has a unique looking brush with ...welll I don't know how to describe it haha it's bumpy! The best is probably that it gives your lashes volume and makes them look kind of healthy and glossy, ergo it makes your eyes appear more awake and bright! This is probably going to be my very first drugstore mascara I'll be repurchasing!

3. Glam' Eyes Mono Eye Shadow #130 "Tribute"
It's a kind of purple-silverish-plum color haha I don't know how to describe it. But I instantly fell in love with the color. It's very pigmented and the prettiest color I've ever seen!

4. Glam' Eyes HD Quad Eyeshadow #005 "English Rose"
I thought this looked very interesting. Not only because of the Union Jack but also because of the color-combination. The colors are kind of redish-brown and I am super excited for trying these on my eyes!

5. Glam' Eyes Trio Eyeshadow #621 "Orion"
I didn't notice this one was called Orion in the drugstore. haha Orion is my favorite constellation and since it stands for hunters the colors now make sense. They are very natural earth-tones. I purchased this because of the matte colors, which I prefer using for everyday eye make-up.

Now that's it for now. I really hope you enjoyed my Rimmel Haul and found it somehow helpful. I love their products. They are not too pricey but of great quality!
xx Andrea
