OOTD: Not so Sunny Basic Day :(

Hello lovelies! How is your summer? So the sun has finally come back but when I took these pictures it's been gone for a while, I almost thought summer was over!

I thought I was going to take pictures of my staple outfit for summer haha I really like to stick to neutrals and denim...

Little creamy Prom Dress!

Hello out there! I hope you're doing very fine! So HA! apparently GFC is not gone! I kind of knew it but I'm still glad haha Thank you so much for the many followers that have come in lately, I don't know what I did but I'm glad you have fun reading my blog haha

I wasn't quite sure if I should post the prom pictures, since prom is ...well let's say "So over" :D My school was being very slow this year. We've technically been the last! However, I've been asked to post pictures of my prom dress ever since I did a post on the shoes haha (CLICK HERE for the post), so here it is :) nothing really special but I really love the color - I guess it's cream & champagne? with some golden accents! I know GOLD, when my friends asked for the color of my dress I could see the words "ugh how cheap?!" right in their faces haha true I tend to think gold can look very cheap but honestly I did think mine looked quite classy and elegant.


Sorry that it took so long but I had to choose between so many pictures, and honestly said I barely liked ANY. My parents are as good with the camera as I am photogenic I guess...



I got it from a store near our house. It's from the brand SWING, I remember I've seen that brand on the internet, but apparently you cannot find the dress on the internet. I'm sorry :(

I'm not quite sure why I picked this one. When I saw it first all I could think of was "DEFINETELY NOT THIS ONE"!!! But since my mom used to be a tailor and she advised me to ALWAYS try things on, since they sometimes look completely different when you're wearing it, I tried it on and fell in love with it!

This dress is the complete opposite of what I imagined and I remember I had the dilemma of wanting a short dress since I'm a short person but everyone else going for a long dress. The solution was a high-low-dress of course but since this trend was going around I didn't really want my dress to be like that, which is why this was perfect. It's actually short but has a a train, which makes me felt like a fairy!

I decided to go without any jewlery except for the earrings, which I got from the same store :) I know could've worn a collar or something to it. But I loved how clean and ...ahem pure? (you know how bad I am with words! I really shouldn't be writing haha) it looked!

ugh BAD POSING! but this is how my dress looks like from the front :)

 My mom did my hair by the way, I kinda wanted it a little messy as a contrast to the dress.

I apologize for this post being THAT long, I knew it was going to be long but not long LONG :D hopefully this was somewhat helpful or at least entertaining haha What did your prom dress look like?! :)

Bored? My Online Favorites!

Hello there! I've been online shopping A LOT lately and found that there are so many online stores that people don't seem to mention very often. I mean I love all the Asos and Romwe out there, however, I thought I might should introduce you to some of my favorites!

I know, starting off with a rather popular option is kind of wrong. But I love Nelly. It's pretty much like asos but from Scandinavia! They have amazing dresses and very stylish pieces. You can never do wrong with buying things from Nelly!

Another brand from Scandinavia! I love the clothes from Chiquelle! Their pieces are somewhere between Grunge and Hipster and I am obsessed with their collor necklaces! No I'm not even kidding when I say, I would buy all of them!

Gina Tricot has always been one of my favorite stores. However, not everyone has them in their city, which is why I highly recommend to visit their online website! Their pieces go from bohemian chic, to rock chic, to simple. They are very affordable and they even have an own cosmetic line! Unfortunetely you can only order when you are from Europe.

I fell in love with Bershka ever since I came back from my last trip to Paris last summer! I just love their clothes, especially their tops! You can also order from everywhere in the world unless you live in the states (That might be the first time I get to say that haha)

So hopefully you found this somewhat helpful! Did you know all/any of these stores? 
Of course I also like to go shopping in stores like Zara, Forever 21, Topshop and H&M but I thought this would be more interesting to you than talking about stores that you know for sure!

I bougt a Prom Dress!

Hellooooo there! How is everybody doing? I had such a great day because the sun came out, I only had school for an hour and spent the entire day downtown with my mom NOT wearing a coat! omg yes and it was heaven! Finally the sun came back!

So we've been looking for a prom dress and I didn't even think I would find one, we just walked into the store and the shop assistant looked at me and knew exactly what dress would suit me. I swear I've never seen such an enthusiastic shop assistant haha well except for the American ones. Even though I had plenty of options I eventually picked her first choice. Honestly I never would've tried this on, it just didn't look like the dresses in my vision haha but it was perfect! She also picked me some shoes and earrings.

From the shoes and the clutch you can guess what color my dress will have. So now you are wondering where is the picture of the dress? haha There is none... Unfortunetely I couldn't take a picture because they kept the dress for a fitting. However, she told me to keep it a secret to have an extra wow-effect. So I guess I am going to keep it, even from my friends. Sorry! :( Did YOU get to buy your prom dress yet?

We went to the drugstore later then and there was a Rimmel sale OMG YES A RIMMEL SALE. I bought some things which I will introduce you to in another post. I got seduced by all the Rimmel products...sneaky evil Rimmel products! :( now all my money is gone

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging

I think everybody knows this feeling. The itch to click the "Add to bag" and "Checkout" button everytime you're on an online-shopping trip. Whether it is topshop, romwe, asos or forever21. And then you realize...I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO! And that's when I start making wish lists...unfortunetely topshop is a lot faster in putting new pieces one the website then me putting my favorites together. I guess I will have to do that every week haha

Seriously I can't wait for the snow to disappear! Snow and school stress me out. So I stayed home tonight in order to study for the two important exams next week. Unfortunetely I didn't get very far haha I just don't like it. I'm just not good at it!
So I really needed a chick-flick tonight. Honestly I usually hate cheesy movies but I need them now and then. Watching them in the right momens make me happy. So I decided to watch Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging for the first time today! I know very late I remember watching the trailer when I was 12-13. Wow I feel old. Anyway. The movie is just cute and makes me feel less insecure. It's not too cheesy but sweet and Aaron Johnson...well you've changed haha How did you get from THIS to THAT?! still love him though. talented man. and perfect with Keira Knightley!

PAMPER EVENING TOMORROW!

I ♥ Pizzamuffins!

Hellooooo there :) I never got the chance to express my love for huge slouchy jumpers! I love them in neutral colors, wearing them with leggings, small necklaces, huge collars....etc. So many ways!!!
Since I spent the entire school day writing my biology exam/semi-finals, my mom decided to wander through the shops with me and my friend after we picked up my license.
Of course I had to go to H&M (where else?! They now have Beckham on their bags?!).

 So now my haul didn't turn out too big...well it's just one jumper. A really slouchy one, nothing special. But I love it since I've been looking for a white slouchy jumper for ages (I'm not even kidding!). And I really love the way it's knitted. It's also perfect for summer since it's just roughly knitted. You can purchase it HERE

 I'm gonna be honest...I used to dislike H&M for a while because every single girl at my school would wear
the same things. But now that H&M decided to sell studded things and slouchy sweaters I really started to enjoy going shopping there.

For dinner my mommy baked some pizzamuffins! Sounds scary but they are soooo good! I have no words for all the feelings I have in my mouth eating a pizzamuffin haha
