Review: Looking for a new scent?

Hello there! How is everybody doing? :) If you are looking for a new scent this might be interesting for you!
Today I would like to introduce you guys to my new favorite scent La vie est belle. It has been created by french perfumers for Lancôme and I've been using this every day ever since I got this from my brother as a birthday gift two weeks ago. You can purchase it HERE or HERE ! there are smaller bottles available but my brother got me the bigger one.

I think the name is perfect because it means Life is Beautiful and has been my motto ever since I listened to Vega 4's "Life is Beautiful" on my Road Trip in America. Very considerate little brother!
At first I honestly said wasn't too excited because I considered the scent for elder people *cough* Julia Roberts *cough* I made the common mistake to sniff instead of spraying it on my wrist. So I sniffed and cringed a little. Sweet. but Old...Also the bottle nahh...but since I didn't want to disappoint my brother I eventually sprayed it on my hand. It wasn't too bad by then but then....after around 15 Minutes!!!!! HEAVEN.

Now La vie est belle is a little more sophisticated than my other ones but thanks to its sweet, slightly flowery and very unique scent (sorry I am horrible at describing but this one is way too unique to describe. I promise) it at the same time is perfect for every age group.
It lasts all day. And the BEST: You only have to spray once or twice since it's an extremely intense (but not too overwhelming as I said) scent. The bottle is very simple and somewhat bulky. You also can only recognize Lancôme by the rose on the nozzle. It comes in a rosegold package with glittery cover.

How about people's reaction? girlfriends love it, even when you can't smell it anymore people still smell it when you walk by. And if you should worry about the male's....
When I walked into my math class some guys started to surround my table because they smelled something really good. It took me a while to realise it was me. They didn't notice until I got my good-morning hugs, so it made me giggle to watch how they were trying to find out where the smell came from haha that was interesting!

IMPORTANT!!!: Make sure that you try/buy the Eau de Parfume, Eau de Toilette never lasts more than 2 hours.

Wow that was a long text but I just love it! Merci pour la lecture! Hope you had a great day!

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging

I think everybody knows this feeling. The itch to click the "Add to bag" and "Checkout" button everytime you're on an online-shopping trip. Whether it is topshop, romwe, asos or forever21. And then you realize...I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO! And that's when I start making wish lists...unfortunetely topshop is a lot faster in putting new pieces one the website then me putting my favorites together. I guess I will have to do that every week haha

Seriously I can't wait for the snow to disappear! Snow and school stress me out. So I stayed home tonight in order to study for the two important exams next week. Unfortunetely I didn't get very far haha I just don't like it. I'm just not good at it!
So I really needed a chick-flick tonight. Honestly I usually hate cheesy movies but I need them now and then. Watching them in the right momens make me happy. So I decided to watch Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging for the first time today! I know very late I remember watching the trailer when I was 12-13. Wow I feel old. Anyway. The movie is just cute and makes me feel less insecure. It's not too cheesy but sweet and Aaron Johnson...well you've changed haha How did you get from THIS to THAT?! still love him though. talented man. and perfect with Keira Knightley!

Thanks for reading! I hope you had a nice Saturday as well xoxo Andrea

Degrassi: Suicide

As the news spreads about Campbell, please let your friends know that there’s a team of counselors here to help the school through this difficult time. There’s no right way to respond to a suicide. Some of you might feel sadness, grief, anger, guilt. Others may be less affected. All of these emotions are completely normal. But no matter how you feel, the best thing you can do is stay open, talk to your parents and your teachers and your friends. And more importantly, listen. Listen to what others have to say. Just know that you’re not alone.
Okay so this is not really what I am going to write about in the future. But I think it's too important to ignore it. (If you should not be interested, I will have another post tonight)

If you don't know what Degrassi is, it's a Canadian tv-show about pupil's life at high school. And honestly most of the storylines are really relatable. One of the characters commited sucide on yesterday's episode after a long time of depressions.

The thing that made thoughtful was the fact that the other pupils didn't realise he was depressive. He only gave a few hints and obviously was hoping for help but eventually did not tell anyone about his feelings. Also the incidents that made him depressive were...well let's say a person would not think that they would make someone suicidal. He was teased by his hockey colleagues, put under pressure and miss his family. But adding them all together - I like to call it the snowball effect - can hit someone very hard. The character eventually killed himself after someone called him a "psycho". I think the snowball effect is something everyone can realte to!

This is the audio to the sequence after the candle light vigil. I think the music and the speech are beautiful
After this I was asking myself a lot if I had pushed someone over the edge by the things that I said. I have never been a mean person but what I want to say is that NO ONE knows what the other person has been through and no one knows for sure how much impact they have on other people's lives. It is so easy to get there. I personally never thought of suicide but there were so many times when I thought the jokes that people were making about me weren't funny at all. They in fact hurt me so much that I couldn't forget people's words for weeks/months/years. Even when they weren't seriously about it I couldn't help but taking those jokes personally.

So if you are there please talk to someone and seek help.
You can also call someone. Click HERE for the list of suicide crisis lines.

As cheesy as it sounds, please remember that you are not alone.

I ♥ Pizzamuffins!

Hellooooo there :) I never got the chance to express my love for huge slouchy jumpers! I love them in neutral colors, wearing them with leggings, small necklaces, huge collars....etc. So many ways!!!
Since I spent the entire school day writing my biology exam/semi-finals, my mom decided to wander through the shops with me and my friend after we picked up my license.
Of course I had to go to H&M (where else?! They now have Beckham on their bags?!).

So now my haul didn't turn out too big...well it's just one jumper. A really slouchy one, nothing special. But I love it since I've been looking for a white slouchy jumper for ages (I'm not even kidding!). And I really love the way it's knitted. It's also perfect for summer since it's just roughly knitted. You can purchase it HERE

I'm gonna be honest...I used to dislike H&M for a while because every single girl at my school would wear
the same things. But now that H&M decided to sell studded things and slouchy sweaters I really started to enjoy going shopping there.

For dinner my mommy baked some pizzamuffins! Sounds scary but they are soooo good! I have no words for all the feelings I have in my mouth eating a pizzamuffin haha

I really hope you all had a great day!!! I ♥ everyone that stumbles over this post! xo Andrea

When friendships break and hockey

I had hockey-class today. THANK GOD. that was freaking exhausting but I finally got to let all my anger out. Seriously I ran back and forth and have been really good today.
Now I'm all sweaty but happy again....Well as much as I can since I am going to write a super important biology exam in 2 days and I need to catch up on 3 semesters...holy cow!
I hate sports but it can be really good to balance things out especially when you are freaking furious haha and I really was today...
I know my webcam sucks. But I didn't charge my camera.

So there are two people at my school that currently make me want to go through the roof or just hit them with my hockey stick! One of them is a friend of mine that I've been annoyed by for a while. There is a reason for it which I don't want to write up here. But let's say she's hurting many of our friends.
And then there's the other girl, that I like to consider as the biggest and also bitchiest nerd at school. Bitchy AND nerdy? Yes bitchy and nerdy. Not that being nerdy is bad. I like to consider myself as a geek.
So I usually don't hate on people but this girl has always felt all bossy just because teachers consider her as intelligent and has tried to outcast me for a while. And my named friend seems to adapt to her behaviour. I don't mind that they've become friends but laughing while the other HBIC bullies your friend? That's the line!
This one's taken with my iphone. Better :)
Anyways I had my history exam today. You must know there were two different groups of people in the room - one of them would write for 2 and one for 4 hours. And our teacher gave us (the 2 hour-group) some extra time. I don't know if it was because I protested but when I turned around guess who was starring at me with bitter hate-stares á la nerdy bitch?! Yes my friend. Oh well...I get that she is mad and it's okay but I really don't like what she's become..

Introduction - Why Blogging?

Helloooooo... How is everybody doing today? (I'm not just asking, I really would love to know!)

I'm just going to start off with a quick introduction.
My name is Andrea. I am 18...and 2 weeks (haha I almost wrote up 17).
I live in the centre of Europa...Well I think it is the centre!
I chose the title because I think simple, LITTLE things (you get the reference there?!) are so underappreciate but yet they can have the most powerful effect on you :) I can tell you this since I've been many to many places in the world!

And that was the boring part! I can't promise it though haha Let's move forward to the question

Honestly, I am not sure. I guess I have two missions

1. More "Me". More "Me"-Time..or to be gramatically correct, more time for myself.
I haven't had much "Me"-Time lately and eventually got the feeling of being lost. In order to find the happy "Me" I used to be as a child again I needed a diary. And what's better than a blog for this? I can post simple thoughts, pictures und music that move me, share all the things I love. I suppose mainly clothes and make-up haha and the BEST! I have a reason to work with Photoshop again!
I honestly don't think many people are going to read this. But that really is not the point. I just need to write up my thoughts and maybe, just maybe you will be somewhat interested.

2. My writing skills...Just checked my text and NOPE. I'm not really good at it haha
Anyway! I'm very close to my A-Levels exams and always have had the problem of expressing my thoughts. Everything is inside my head. I just don't know how to say it. This might will help, I don't know. I've been trying to run a video diary in private, so I can practise for my orals but failed miserably! I just don't feel very comfortable in front of the camera. I might will try again though since it's good practise.

The view from our house. A simple thing I really appreciate is the sunset.

I'm pretty sure 99,999999999 % didn't even get to this line but if you did: Thank you so much!

- Andrea xx

PS.: I know the Layout sucks...gah my eyes burn when I look at it. But I will work at it very soon! I promise!
